As an interior decorator, I have the pleasure of working with clients in various stages of renovation. Some clients need complete interior design planning and some need help with luxury design finishes.  This client had a demolished the home main level back to the studs and we are thrilled to say the dining room of my wonderful Clients is almost complete!

While I wait for their return from Florida to continue with accessorizing the built-in and original Art and framing, I am quite pleased with it’s progress to date! My Clients love it.

I was referred by their Builder to participate in this grand rebuild of an older home they lived in for over 30 years where they raised their Children, dogs, and hosted many Family and Friend gatherings. The Clients agreed to take me on as their interior designer and I was hired to consult with finish choices on an as needed Consultation basis. This is one of the many rooms in the beautiful home I took part in, the Dining room. The Dining room was originally the Family room. After the Builder raised the ceiling in this grand Bungalow, the finishing selections began and the orders were made. The process included visiting the showroom and assisting my Client with the selections of;

  1. The Onyx back lit stone for the fireplace surround surface
  2. The fireplace insert; the style, colouring, insert stone details
  3. The gorgeous wood flooring from Sweden with a brass inlay insert manufactured by the Client
  4. The glorious crystal lighting fixtures dancing over the dining table
  5. The custom made dining table and upholstered luxurious chairs fit for royalty
  6. Assistance with cabinet concept, from cabinet door style, paint colour specifications for cabinets, lighting concept in cabinet and gold hardware from hardware to hinges and velvet inserts for cutlery
  7. Paint colours by Benjamin Moore for the walls, ceilings, moulding and trims
  8. Carpentry; Selection of baseboard, entry and window trims
  9. Ceiling large moulding
  10. Regal Wallpaper with a perfect combination of both traditional and modern appeal
  11. Automated Window privacy, and layered drapery that offers various levels of privacy and sun block with satiny fabric and glistening soft sheers

There is more to come, stay tuned!
